Shaun du Plooy was born in Krugersdorp, South Africa. His love for storytelling began early, writing short stories during his school years. Over time, that passion evolved into a deep exploration of fantasy writing.
When he’s not writing, Shaun enjoys spending time with his loyal companion Smokey or diving into story-driven video games.
His debut book, Infernal: The Dragon’s Cry, began as a passion project and grew into a world of its own. Shaun strives to avoid cliché endings, focusing instead on creating meaningful, unexpected moments that resonate with readers.
